I finally got around to redesigning and rebuilding my blog. Awesome.

A few notes on how things work:
- Everything is running on WordPress (2.8.1)
- I built the WordPress theme from scratch, using Kubrick as a guide.
- I used the YUI CSS framework to help layout a grid, normalize browser inconsistencies and to make development a tad bit easier.
- I’m also using a few WordPress plugins: Twitter Widget Pro, Flickr Photo Album and WordPress Database Backup. Out of all of the Twitter and Flickr plugins, these two had the most features and were the most customizable.
- Depending on if a post is BC/AD (before relaunch / after relaunch) page elements resize to accommodate the 800px wide larger photos of days of yore. (I had to think this one through a little bit – I used wp custom fields as a marker for needing the wider style).
Hope y’all enjoy it!
