So I’ve been in Japan for 3 days. It has been crazy. And hot. Like 34 C and humid. I think that’s about 93, plus tons of humidity. Done a lot of fun stuff…a highlight was definitely yesterday. Went to a Japanese bathhouse and scrubbed and soaked with several yakuza guys (this bath house is known for having yakuza. They had crazy tatoos all over their body. Then they shot me. Jk. Bath houses are interesting b/c you kinda just run around everywhere in it naked with a bunch of other Japanese guys. Ok going to feed the monkeys at another temple. Hasta.
We know that Japanese have bad translations and often times it’s humorous. I didn’t want to take pictures of signs, but a lot of the product names are too funny to pass up. One of david’s bikes is called “Forever.”

I´m so glad you posted a picture from Japan because I know you got there safely! Post some pictures of temples, people, the monkeys … what food are you eating?
We are at Machu Picchu for 2 days/1 nite … the trip has been incredible. We have been able to see alot of things that the public does not have access to. You MUST come to Machu Picchu … you would take literally thousands of pictures. It´s just like the books except more beautiful. I have also decided I must go digital (yes, finally) .. I´ve almost used up 12 rolls of film.
We´ll be back in San Anselmo on Sat July 23 and I´m back at work on the 25´th. I´ll plan to pick you up on the 29th … let me know the details.
