Thank you. With the new change to showing date taken it messed things up. I don’t always set the date on my camera after battery change so some of my photos now say really crazy dates on display. I just tried one and it worked. Now I can fix them
Thanks, tried both methods, and they both worked. Each has it’s own idiosyncrasies, but got the job done eventually. I have the Flickr API, and I think I’ll build my own editing interface.
@Jerry, great yeah they’re both less than optimal ways to edit upload dates. If you’re a developer with time, the best way would be to make your own tool using the API.

I was trying to update my upload date with your 2 methods. I dunno if it is the process or maybe flickr just blocked the function, but it doesn’t seem to work anymore.
@Zhen – The old organizer still works but it’s a bit janky and may not load all of the thumbs, as mentioned. Looks like h4ppierphotos still works. Make sure to select this option at the top before you perform a search: “Very h4ppy: Advanced interface, adds options.”
thank you thank you! I had recently uploaded an old set that had been hosted somewhere else. suddenly my blog and portfolio website was full of these old yet ‘new’ photos that were stuck in my flickr stream! do you think flickr will have this option in its new/current site?
@alyssa – I just checked both tools several weeks ago and they still worked…so you should be able to use them. I don’t think flickr will ever make it a feature on the actual site.
In the second app option, there is no more the option called “Time shift the upload date of these photos”. So it doesn’t work.
Even the old Flickr’s own uploader at this time does not load sets. Frustrating.
