What I look for: will be here.

Cranberry sauce. The simplest item to make in a Thanksgiving or Christmas meal, yet one of the most store bought items. (I know this because my friend bought the last can in all of Safeway the evening before Thanksgiving). Ok, I’m just gonna say it how my mom has always said it to me: “Why the fuck would you buy that store bought shit when you can make it just as easily? And homemade stuff tastes ten goddamn times better.” Ok so maybe my mom’s not a potty mouth. But cranberry sauce…seriously it’s really simple. It’s as easy a mac and cheese, you boil some water, add berries and sugar and simmer for an hour or 2.

Maybe people like the rings that the can makes. That’s my mom’s theory. My theory is that people want to feel like their pets, like cats and dogs so they eat food that conforms to the shape of the container in which it was sold. Fancy Feast is one such food item. Fancy, yes. But it’s still pet food. I’m just kidding, but seriously make real cranberry sauce, people will be impressed.

SB BBall, but wait, with a Hasselblad? Got some scans back from a roll I shot with a borrowed ‘blad. Absolutely beautiful dynamic range and highlights. Damn film is cool. Too bad I quit 5 years ago.
