I’m too young.

Posted by Greg T. on May 30th, 2007 in New York, Shot on Film

Part of me wishes I was 29ish.  Being a 24 year old guy in the twenty somethings world is like being a freshman. You’re on the bottom rung of the ladder again.  People older than you aren’t interested.  They think you’re young, naive and without experience.  I’ve found that, aside from having more career experience, most people really aren’t their age.

Late night binge at Yakitori Taisho, some fine izakaya home cookin.  (ilford xp2)

West 79th, under the bridge.

Posted by Greg T. on May 29th, 2007 in New York, Shot on Film

It’s getting warm in NY. I’m going the route of waiting till the last possible sweaty moment to get an air conditioner. I even hatched (and will implement tomorrow) plans to run a fresh air duct up to the roof in order to better ventilate my room. It should be about $60 in parts.

The problem with film is that there’s a 3 week turn around from when I take the picture to when I get it on my blog.  Westside, 79th. Man under bridge.

I got an invite to I’m in Like with You, a cute/hot social networking site of the moment.  Aside from their wonderful design, their exclusivity is really the only other thing that attracts me to them.  You can’t communicate with people unless you play their game and win.  Literally.  You have to play it and win.  I have one invite to give out.  I’m going to give it to a girl because there is currently a 1:3 girl to guy ratio, which is crappy.  I’m going to devise a non-monetary contest to give out the invite.  Or maybe I’ll just give it to Karen, who gave me a Wallop.com invite.

This picture is a result of  1) lightroom crashing upon opening and disenfranchising me from my entire photo library and 2) Bridge not loading (and crashing) and disenfranchising me from my entire photo library.  This is a leftover from my blog makeover attempt.

My roommate works on top of the flagship applestore, in the GM building. What’s wrong with this picture? Dinner on me if you comment and get it right.

Reworking…

Lack of posts because of too much attention to the blog….the design, that is. It’s a work in progress…please excuse the mess.
