Learning something new

Posted by Greg T. on February 28th, 2005 in Uncategorized

I can’t imagine not learning something new every day. And I don’t mean school because school is BS. I mean about things that truly interest me. For example today I explored the uses and abilities of a shotgun mic vs an omni. Very good to experiment with. In the anecdotal genre, I learned that Hitler was almost certainly taking daily injections of methamphetamines, which he may or may not have thought to purely be vitamins. This is theorized to have greatly contributed to many poor judgement calls and Germany’s eventual downfall in WWII.

Suck it school

Posted by Greg T. on February 28th, 2005 in Uncategorized

I’ve been doing a lot of audio, video and photography work over the past couple weeks, which also means that I haven’t been doing much school work. Uh oh is right. But hey, the Bookmarks DVD is gonna be tight.

I’m going to be lame

Posted by Greg T. on February 26th, 2005 in Uncategorized

This is ambiguious, and I hate ambiguity in blogs, xangas, but right now I feel like someone took that strorage bin that is my life and dumped it all out all over the floor, and now I have to put it all back into the bin.

From the Tsunami Aid Beach Walk this morning, quite a fund raiser put on by some fellow major-mates. I worked on my A/V skills.

Patches

Posted by Greg T. on February 25th, 2005 in Uncategorized

You’ll be happy to know that I patched my jeans from the inside with iron on patches from Rite Aid. The jeans are from H&M in NY and have seen a lot of my ass and knees. As a result they are worn in these areas.

Seventh Week Slackage

Posted by Greg T. on February 24th, 2005 in Uncategorized

Every quarter I get what I call the “seventh week slump, or slackage.” It’s when you’re tired of the quarter and feel like you can coast because you just turned a midterm or a paper and then things just start to fall apart. I’m currently experiencing fallout from the 7th week slump.

This is from the Chinese New Years Parade in SF, this past weekend. It didn’t rain the entire time, but if it had, like in this photo, it would have really sucked.

Getting a bad haircut

Posted by Greg T. on February 17th, 2005 in Uncategorized

Don’t you hate it when your psycho barber starts going off about how some perverts and slanderers are supposedly stalking him and talking shit about his car, and he takes takes his anger out on my hair? Yeah, it sucks and the result is a lopsided but free haircut (after bitching).

On another note, we had fun burning a bunch of voided check books:
